Nydia Mora, Registered Veterinary Technician

Our Wildly Talented Vet Tech Extraordinaire! Since August 2022, Nydia has been lighting up the halls of TruVet with her expertise as a Registered Veterinary Technician. But Nydia’s journey to the animal kingdom started way before that – she honed her skills at the Humane Society of Sonoma County, where she juggled roles as a surgery and recovery whiz and an urgent care superhero!

Here at TruVet, Nydia’s career took flight in our emergency department before she found her groove in the surgery room. And boy, does she rock it!

But hold your horses, there’s more to Nydia than meets the eye. She’s not just a vet tech – she’s also a wildlife warrior, holding a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology from UC Davis. And if that wasn’t enough, she topped it off with a license following her completion of the SRJC RVT program in September 2023. Plus, she’s Fear-Free certified – talk about a trifecta of awesomeness!

When she’s not busy saving the day at TruVet, Nydia loves strumming her guitar, hitting the trails for a hike, and jetting off on adventures near and far.

Hailing from Sonoma County with roots in Nicaragua, Nydia brings a vibrant blend of cultures and experiences to our team. And let’s not forget her adorable sidekick, Mocha the Shih Tzu, who adds an extra dose of charm to Nydia’s life.

For Nydia, the most inspiring part of her job is being there for animals when they’re in need and empowering their owners with knowledge about their furry friends’ health. With Nydia by your side, you can rest assured your pets are in the best hands possible!
