Julie H., Veterinary Assistant

Since July 2021, Julie has been rocking the TruVet world as one of our stellar veterinary assistants. With a whopping 6 years of experience under her belt, mostly in the realm of in-patient care (her true love!), Julie is the heart and soul of our patient care team.

But wait, there’s more! Julie didn’t stop at just being an assistant – she completed the SRJC RVT program, earning her stripes as a true veterinary professional. And did we mention she’s bilingual in English and Spanish? Talk about a powerhouse of skills!

When she’s not busy tending to our furry friends, Julie is a whirlwind of activity. From globe-trotting adventures to hitting the gym, pounding the pavement on a run, or getting lost in the pages of a good book, Julie does it all. And let’s not forget her love for all things food – she’s a certified foodie with a taste for the finer things in life!

At home, Julie’s family consists of the fabulous Athena, her Chihuahua princess with a whole lot of attitude. Together, they rule the roost with love and paws.

For Julie, the most inspiring part of her job is her unwavering passion for patient care. She thrives on building lasting relationships with our furry patients and their families, especially if they’re part of the long-term TruVet family.
