Since June 2021, Jennifer has been the backbone of our TruVet family, bringing her wealth of experience as a seasoned veterinary assistant in the Internal Medicine department. But wait, there’s more! She’s not just a regular assistant – Jennifer is our go-to gal for all things inventory management and specialty coordination. Talk about wearing many hats with style!

But let’s rewind a bit. Before her TruVet adventure, Jennifer wore the proud title of stay-at-home mom, raising her awesome son. When he hit 9, Jennifer decided it was time to shake things up and dive into a new career. So, off she went to school at SRJC to become a veterinary technician. Starting in shelter medicine, then general practice, she soon found her passion in specialty and emergency care, soaking up skills like a sponge along the way.

When she’s not busy at work, Jennifer is a self-proclaimed homebody with a taste for adventure. She loves nothing more than sipping wine with friends, tending to her garden, and hitting the beach or trails with her beloved pit bull, June, by her side.

And speaking of furry friends, let’s not forget Waylon, the adorable kitty who stole Jennifer’s heart after Dr. Kruger worked her magic on repairing some facial lacerations after coming in as a stray kitty. It was love at first sight!

For Jennifer, the most inspiring part of her job is the joy of helping animals – it may sound like a cliché, but it’s her passion through and through.
