Alicia W., Kennel Technician Assistant

Meet Alicia, our awesome Kennel Technician Assistant who joined the team in May 2024! Fresh out of Headwaters Class of 2024, Alicia is gearing up to attend the SRJC RVT program next year, diving headfirst into the veterinary world.

When she’s not caring for our furry friends, Alicia loves horseback riding, getting crafty with arts and crafts, whipping up delicious meals, and catching waves surfing. She’s also got a unique squad at home: Igor, her Sulcata Tortoise, and two desert tortoises, Petri (a wise 30-year-old) and Popeye (a sprightly 7-year-old).

Alicia’s heart melts seeing everyone at work treat the animals like their own, and nothing beats the joy of watching pets return to their owners happy and healthy. She absolutely adores the supportive, kind, and caring atmosphere at TruVet. It’s clear that everyone here truly cares about the clients, the pets, and each other.
