Leah G., Registered Veterinary Technician

Leah has been making waves in the veterinary field for 6 years, mostly in general practice, until she joined TruVet in March. She’s super excited about diving into a new area of veterinary medicine!

In 2019, Leah earned an Associate of Arts degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Santa Rosa Junior College. She completed the SRJC RVT program in 2020 and aced the Veterinary Technician National Exam to become a licensed Registered Veterinary Technician.

Leah’s special interests include dentistry, analgesia, and surgery. When she’s not at work, you can find her doing yoga, snapping photos, creating ceramics, hiking, or taking weekend trips with her husband and their friends. She’s a houseplant aficionado, with a jungle of greenery turning her home into a vibrant oasis!

Her animal family includes Gwen, an Olde English Bulldog, and Zuko, a Leopard Gecko.

The most inspiring part of Leah’s job? Helping pets feel better and being the voice they don’t have.
