Taylor S., RVT, Nursing Manager
Taylor joined TruVet in November 2020 as a Registered Veterinary Technician and has since become our Nursing Manager on the floor. Her extraordinary leadership was built on her extensive background in veterinary medicine that spans 13 years, including three years in shelter medicine, seven years in general practice, and three years in emergency care.
Taylor holds an Associate of Arts degree in Spanish and Humanitarian Studies. She completed the SRJC RVT program and earned her veterinary technician license in January 2018. Currently, she is advancing her expertise by pursuing certification in the Recover CPR program.
Outside of work, Taylor is a passionate soccer fan and loves both playing the sport and traveling—especially to Europe, where she can catch Premier League matches live! She’s also an enthusiast of wine tasting adventures and never misses the chance to explore new flavors and vineyards.
At home, Taylor is a proud mom to her little girl and a devoted partner to her husband. Her furry family includes Ra’s Al Ghul, a 9-year-old black and white domestic longhair; John Wick, an 8-year-old gray Scottish Fold; Quinzel, a stunning 2-year-old Maine Coon with a unique black, gray, and brown ombre coat; and Talia, her energetic 4-year-old black and white Border Collie/Aussie mix.
Taylor finds inspiration in her passion for treating animals and educating their owners to improve the lives of pets and their families. Her advice for prospective TruVet team members is to embrace teamwork and understand the true meaning of being a team player. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in our community and for our furry friends.
