Sydnee P., Veterinary Assistant

Sydnee joined the TruVet team in June 2025 as a Veterinary Assistant, bringing with her four years of experience in general practice and a strong foundation from earning her veterinary assistant certificate through Auburn University. Her calm, caring nature and love for animals make her a perfect fit for our team.

When she’s not at the hospital, Sydnee is all about staying active and enjoying the outdoors. She’s a fan of indoor rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, and getting lost in a good book. Whether she’s scaling a climbing wall or curled up with a novel, Sydnee brings the same focus and enthusiasm to everything she does.

At home, Sydnee shares her life with her boyfriend Ben and their sleek and independent Russian Blue cat, Cisco, who definitely runs the household (and knows it).

What inspires Sydnee most about working in veterinary medicine is the quiet, powerful moments: when a fearful pet begins to trust, when a worried owner finally exhales, and when she knows her compassion and care have made a lasting impact.
