Rebecca Baxter, Registered Veterinary Technician

I started in the veterinary field in 2007 as an overnight technician. From the moment I started working as an unlicensed technician, I knew it was the career I wanted. I took courses at the SRJC, but ended up getting my license through the alternate route. Licensed as a CVT to become an RVT. I’ve spent over half of my 13 years as an overnight emergency technician and truly love what I do. I spend my spare time enjoying the outdoors hiking and the indoors reading. I share my home with two wonderful cats.
