Lety L., Veterinary Assistant

Lety joined TruVet in January 2021 and quickly became one of our go-to teammates for calm hands and a kind heart. She started her career in a hybrid practice (general medicine and emergency), and brings experience in dentistry, emergency, and oncology. She holds a B.S. in Biology, is Fear Free Certified, completed an internship at the Oakland Zoo, and even contributed to a Western Pond Turtle research project, so yes, she’s equally comfortable with whiskers and shells.

Outside of work, you’ll find her hiking local trails and gardening anything that will grow. At home she shares life with her husband, their child, and a delightfully themed fur-and-scale family: Wasabi the Husky, Blue the Russian Blue cat, Miso the domestic shorthair, and Udon the Sulcata tortoise.
