Jenna W., Inventory Manager/ Specialty Coordinator
Jenna has been with TruVet from the very beginning, one of our original team members and a true cornerstone of our hospital. Over the years, she has grown into one of our most skilled and dependable veterinary assistants. Whether she’s assisting Dr. Kruger with Internal Medicine cases, managing our DEA compliance, keeping a close eye on inventory, or stepping in on the emergency floor, Jenna wears many hats, and wears them all exceptionally well.
With nearly a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, Jenna has worked in everything from inpatient and emergency care to surgery and internal medicine. Before joining the field, she spent time in the hospitality industry, which helped her develop the strong communication skills and “people-first” mindset she brings to every client and team interaction.
Jenna is a proud graduate of the SRJC Veterinary Technician Program and continues to be a driving force of knowledge and support across the hospital.
Jenna has a competitive streak and a love of movement; she played soccer for 18 years and dabbled (very casually) in MMA and Aikido. These days, she balances work and family life with the help of her favorite hobbies: video games and taking well-earned naps.
Jenna has been married to her husband for 9 years, and they’ve been together for 12 years. They’re raising their joyful 1-year-old son, who keeps them on their toes and fills their hearts daily. They also share their home with two brother cats, Philly (an orange tabby) and Terry (a Siamese) from a uniquely mixed litter that included two Torties as well.
“One of my favorite things about this field is working alongside people who share the same goal: helping animals feel better. The love our team has for pets, whether they’re ours or not, is incredible. From doctors to techs to CSRs to kennel staff, the passion here is contagious.”
“Veterinary medicine is full of ups and downs, you’ll laugh, cry, feel frustration, and pride, sometimes all in the same shift. But the key is to embrace every moment and let the good one’s fuel you. Stay positive, stay passionate, and know you’re part of something truly meaningful.”
