Chelsea T., Veterinary Assistant

Chelsea joined the TruVet team in July 2025 as a Veterinary Assistant, bringing with her over 13 years of experience from two well-respected general practices right here in Sonoma County. She’s a graduate of the SRJC Veterinary Technician Program and is just one exam away from earning her RVT license, something we’re all cheering her on for!

Chelsea has a special interest in dentistry and pet nutrition, often crafting personalized weight loss plans to help pets live their healthiest lives. Her dedication to continuing education and hands-on care makes her a valuable member of our clinical team.

Outside of work, Chelsea is all about family and fresh air. She loves spending quality time with her husband and two daughters, especially if it involves reading a good book, heading to the beach, hiking through the redwoods, or enjoying a camping trip under the stars.

Her home is filled with love, and fur! Her animal crew includes Leelah, a loyal and loving pit bull; Dixie Fern and Penny, her two feisty calicos; and Gus Gus Alan, her fluffy and quirky domestic medium-hair cat.

What inspires Chelsea most about her work is knowing she plays a vital role in the health and healing of every patient she touches. Being part of a team that helps pets feel better, and get back to the families who love them, is something she considers a true honor and one of her proudest accomplishments.

Her advice to anyone joining the TruVet team? “Leave your pride at the door, work hard, learn lots, give love, and have fun!” And we couldn’t agree more.
