Angela P., Client Services Representative

Angela joined TruVet as a Client Service Representative in November 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a genuine love for animals. Her journey in veterinary care began in high school, assisting in a general practice clinic. From there, she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, worked hands-on with large animals for four years, and spent three years in shelter medicine, care, and fostering, proving she’s equally at home with barnyard giants and shelter sweethearts.

She’s Fear Free Certified and has even participated in disaster response volunteer work, lending a hand when animals and their families needed it most. Outside of TruVet, Angela enjoys crocheting (her coziest hobby), taking nature walks, and finding any excuse to enjoy fresh air and sunshine.

At home, Angela’s life is joyfully run by her fur family: Mowgli, a dashing brown tabby who rules the household with a mix of curiosity and charm. Josie, a beautiful tortie with a queenly presence and just the right amount of sass. Guy, a sleek black cat she adopted from her previous job, who has perfected the art of lounging in style. Gungi, a lovable brindle pittie mix with a goofy grin for every occasion. Chewy, a spirited mixed-breed pup who ensures life is never boring.

Angela says she has always had a passion for animal care. She would say the most inspiring part of working at TruVet is being able to aid the team to help clients and their pets. It brings her so much joy to be able to work with and around animals every day. She feels that the team here at TruVet is so welcoming and caring. She truly loves coming to work every day, even when she is tired, she knows a coworker will make her smile.
