Alicia A., Kennel Technician Assistant

Alicia joined the TruVet family as our Kennel Technician Assistant in November 2024, and she plays an essential role in keeping our hospital sparkling clean and well-stocked with everything we need to provide top-notch care.

Currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Biology with a concentration in Zoology at Sonoma State University, Alicia brings a passion for animals and science to her work every day. Her commitment to animal welfare is evident not only in her academic pursuits but also in her volunteer work with the ASPCA in Los Angeles, where she gained valuable experience and a deeper understanding of animal advocacy.

When she’s not working or studying, Alicia enjoys unwinding with board games, card games, and adventures to explore new places. A true sports enthusiast, she’s particularly passionate about wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts. Her furry family includes Journey, a lively and lovable 4-year-old Labrador and Pit Bull mix, as well as LJ, her 2-year-old Beta Fish who brings a splash of color to her home.

What inspires Alicia most about her role at TruVet is being part of a dedicated team that gives a voice to those who cannot advocate for themselves. Her dedication and upbeat spirit make her an invaluable member of our team, and we’re thrilled to have her on board!
