Alexis S, Veterinary Assistant

Meet Alexis, a vibrant force in the veterinary world since 2022, with experience in both general medicine and emergency in-patient care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology from UC Davis, a veterinary technician certificate from SRJC, and a Fear-Free certification that equips her to approach our more nervous patients with extra patience and care.

Once a college volleyball star, Alexis now spends her free time with exciting activities like attending concerts, traveling with friends, and enjoying beach trips with her Great Dane mix, Biscuit. Her fur family also includes Oliver, the playful orange tabby, Milo, the mischievous rabbit, and two adorable Nigerian dwarf goats, Salem and Lainey.

For Alexis, the most inspiring part of her job is witnessing the transformation of her patients from very sick to fully recovered and ready to head home. She finds immense joy and fulfillment in seeing each case through to discharge, making a real difference in the lives of her furry patients and their owners.
