Robert S., Veterinary Assistant

Robert joined the TruVet team in March 2022, bringing with him three years of veterinary experience and a whole lot of enthusiasm! Armed with a bachelor’s in biology from Sonoma State University, Robert’s passion for animals and nature knows no bounds.

Before joining us, Robert completed the Naturalist Program at Fairfield Osborne Preserve, where he dazzled visitors with his knowledge of California’s native flora and insects. Who knew learning about bugs could be so much fun?

When he’s not at TruVet, you can find Robert hiking through the great outdoors, diving into epic video game quests, dominating boardgames, or traveling with friends to comic book conventions. Talk about a well-rounded adventurer!

At home, Robert is the proud pet parent of Connie, his 6-year-old gecko who adds a dash of reptilian charm to his life.

For Robert, the most inspiring part of his job is the immense satisfaction he gets from successfully helping our patients. With his boundless energy and love for animals, Robert is a true asset to the TruVet family!
