Practice Manager
We are looking for someone who is committed to embracing our culture and providing exceptional client service and patient care. The practice manager is essential to the success of the hospital, ensuring positive atmosphere built on shared values in direct communication, creating operational efficiencies and problem-solving to improve client service and employee management. They exercise sound judgment and willingness and capability to make decisions while overseeing business activities of the hospital including hiring and managing hospital staff. Possessing a strong sense of teamwork we are seeking someone who is enthusiastic and personable with strong coaching and training skills to help us continue to be successful.
Duties include but are not limited to:
HR management: A person that is adept at recruiting, hiring, training, managing, and mentoring people, understanding employment laws, managing benefits and payroll while remaining positive and keeping people motivated.
- Recruitment, onboarding, and training veterinary staff per California state guidelines
- Having excellent interpersonal, listening, and written verbal communication skills
- Address staff and client concerns
- Provide outlets for team building
- Administer performance reviews
Marketing and Finance Management: Must be skilled in creating and adhering to budgets, analyzing profit/loss statements and making recommendations for ongoing financial improvements. Should also be confident with community outreach, marketing strategies and client education.
- Reviewing, understanding, and reacting to findings in financial reports, budgets, and Profit and Loss statements.
The ideal candidate should possess the following traits and skills:
