Jessie Sutton, DVM, DACVS, MS


Dr. Jessie Sutton is a board-certified small animal surgeon. She was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UCLA (go Bruins!) before moving up to northern California to attend UC Davis for veterinary school. Following veterinary school, she completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania prior to returning to UC Davis for a residency in small animal surgery. She remained at UC Davis as a staff surgeon in the Soft Tissue Surgery Department for one year following her residency, training veterinary students and other residents. She has been living and practicing in Sonoma County since 2016.

Dr. Sutton’s professional interests include surgical oncology, wound management and reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery and cranial cruciate ligament disease.

In her free time Jessie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two sons and black Lab Sirius. She loves living in Sonoma County and exploring the region’s many wineries, hiking trails and beaches!
