Dr. Jessica Saksen, Emergency Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Jessica Saksen is a Northern California native who grew up in Mendocino County. She attended the University of California, Davis for both her undergraduate education and veterinary school. Following graduation, she completed a year of advanced training in emergency medicine, surgery, and internal medicine with East Bay Veterinary Specialists. She spent the last several years working at emergency hospitals in the Sacramento area. She recently relocated to Sebastopol with her husband, toddler, two dogs, and a cat and is very excited to be back closer to home.

Dr. Saksen’s favorite thing about practicing emergency medicine is the variety each day brings and being able to provide for pets and their families in the times they need it most.

When she is not working, Dr. Saksen enjoys riding horses, hiking, camping, skiing, scuba diving, wine tasting, and doing just about anything outdoors.
