Alejandra M., Veterinary Assistant

Alejandra has had quite the adventure working in general practices, emergency outpatient, and inpatient care. She’s currently at SSU working on her biology degree and completed the RVT program at SRJC. Plus, she’s certified as a veterinary assistant and Fear-Free. Talk about qualifications!

When she’s not saving the day at work, you can find Alejandra shooting hoops or spiking volleyballs. She’s also a fan of video games, drawing, landscape photography, reading, hiking, and tackling DIY projects. Family is super important to her, and she’s especially close to her mom, brother, and cousins. At home, she enjoys life with her fiancé and their fur family.

Speaking of her furry friends, Alejandra’s household is ruled by Appa, a domestic medium hair with extra toe beans; Nova, a sleek black domestic short hair; and Byakko, her fiancé’s gray tabby. This kitty trio is kept in line by Cash, a lovable pit bull mix.

The best part of Alejandra’s job? Helping sick patients feel better and turning them back into the happy, loving animals their owners adore.
